The Laws of Maryland at Large, printed in Annapolis in 1765 by Jonas Green and compiled by the Rev. Thomas Bacon, is the most important legal publication from colonial Maryland as well as one of the finest typographic specimens of its time. Chapter XIII contains the act creating Prince George's County in the province of Maryland in 1696. From the Marylandia and Rare Books Department.

Currently on display with the 300 Candles: Slices of Prince George's County exhibit in the Maryland Room, 3rd floor, McKeldin Library at the University of Maryland at College Park.
