Marietta House Museum and The Prince George’s County Historical Society Lecture Series

Please join us as we commemorate Black History Month with a lecture on African American Quilts, Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 1pm.  Learn more about African American quilt making in the 1800’s.  Did some quilts include special signals to locate safe houses on the Underground Railroad?  What materials were used?  Find out more as we explore the quilts of the 1800’s.  Enjoy light refreshments following the lecture.
