PORTRAIT EXHIBIT: PRINCE GEORGE'S PORTRAITS

Have any old relatives hanging around the house?

The Montpelier Cultural Arts Center is seeking portraits of Prince George's County residents for display during the Tricentennial year. The portraits may be paintings, prints, sculpture or photographs (photographs must be at least 50 years old). They may be individual or group portraits -- either formal poses or snapshots. Photographs and paintings of Prince George's residents in front of their homes are especially welcome.

The "Prince George's Portraits" Exhibit will be displayed at the Montpelier Cultural Arts Center from April 10-May 30, 1996, and will travel to other county locations for the balance of the year's celebration. Archival portraits will join the family portraits solicited for the exhibition.

Call the Montpelier Cultural Arts Center at (301)953-1993, TTY (301)490-2329, to receive a submission form with complete details for sending artwork and photographs to be included in the exhibition. All materials will be handled with care, and returned to their owners at the conclusion of the Tricentennial.
