Dancers Wanted

Grab your partner and do si do!

Square dancers, round dancers and contra dancers are invited to participate in the various festivals, parades and events being planned to celebrate Prince George's County's Tricentennial next year.

Dancers who become part of this celebration will be issued "dangles" to commemorate this important occasion. They may share in the programs either individually or with a partner, or with their club. Children are, of course, welcome to dance. Dance apparel will be required.

According to square dancer Ed Laari, coordinator for this project, these activities are approved by the Washington Area Square Dance Cooperative Association and the Mason-Dixon Square Dance Federation.

Anyone interested in dancing at Tricentennial events should contact Laari for registration information; he may be reached at (301)262-0592.
