DESCRIPTION:At St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall\, 4512 College Ave. Music by Transatlantic Crossing\, specializing in fiddle tunes from both sides of the Atlantic. Come join musicians Anne and Jon Gardner and their daughters Elizabeth and Rebecca and dance to some traditional music including reels\, contra dances\, waltzes and mixers. This fabulous band and their live caller April Blum will keep us all from getting lost on the dance floor. No partner\, no experience necessary – all are welcome. \n  \nThe Old Parish House is turning 200 – and the City of College Park is having a big celebration!  Plan to join your friends and neighbors for a weekend of events September 15 – 17. \nSpecial events include vintage dancing on Friday night at nearby St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. The weekend continues at the Old Parish House with Family Fun Day on Saturday\, a community sing-along and ice cream social on Saturday evening\, and History Day on Sunday.  All events will take place at the Old Parish House located at the corner of Knox Road and Dartmouth Avenue in the historic Old Town section of College Park. \nConstructed in 1817\, the building was built as a brick barn as part of the Riversdale estate.  Throughout its life\, the building has also served as a church\, a parish hall\, headquarters for the College Park Woman’s Club\, and now a community center.
