SUMMARY:Hidden Spaces Tour
DESCRIPTION:Ever wonder what’s behind the doors that say “Staff Only” and “Do Not Enter”?  Montpelier staff will give you a behind-the-scenes tour! These areas include cellars\, the attic\, the walk-in vault\, the Summer House and the Carriage House. \nYou’ll learn about the construction of the house and the changes over its 230 year history\, including 20th century modernizations such as electricity and HVAC.  Older clothes and comfortable shoes recommended. \nYou must arrive by 4 pm to go on the tour. Reservations are required\, space is limited.    \n\n\n\n\n$15/person; $10/person (Friends of Montpelier and Active Military)
