Friends of Montpelier History Talk: The History of Herbals, From Folklore to Pharmaceuticals

The Friends of Montpelier’s Spring history lecture features John Peter Thompson, Chair of the Prince George’s County Historic Preservation Commission, who will speak on the history of herbals, from their start as a collection of folk wisdom to the basis of many of the medical and pharmaceutical sciences of today. He will also speak on the precursors of herbals from Greek and Roman times.
