Marietta is the 1813 home of Judge Gabriel Duvall, a Supreme Court Justice and Comptroller of the Treasury. Marietta stands on terraced, landscaped grounds with two contemporary outbuildings: a brick law office and a stone and brick root cellar/harness storage room. The grounds boast two County Champion trees and lovely old boxwood. The family graveyard has been relocated to these serene surroundings.
Come early and visit our Glenn Dale Farmer’s Market on the grounds from
9am – 1:00pm.
Marietta is located at 5626 Bell Station Road, Glenn Dale, MD 20769.
Marietta is a property of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission.
